
Manchester’s Most Wanted Man Charged

Manchester’s most wanted man, 33-year-old Kevin Brown otherwise called “Chi-Chaani”, who was held by the Clarke’s Town Police in Trelawny last week, has been charged with two counts of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and is to appear in the Falmouth Resident Magistrate’s Court later this week.
On Saturday, Brown was held in possession of two illegal firearms – a Glock 19 9mm semi-automatic pistol bearing serial number BR4524 and a Browning 9mm semi-automatic pistol, serial number 397920 – with 2 rounds of ammunition were taken from him.
About 8:00 a.m., the Clarke’s Town Police were carrying out operations on the Clarke’s Town main road. They stopped a taxi in which Brown was a passenger. The passengers were searched and Brown was found with the two pistols.
Investigation into the other crimes committed by Brown continues. These crimes were committed in several communities in Manchester.
