Labour Day in Central Manchester
MP Peter Bunting was act Labour day activities in the constituency on May 23. First he and a work team from the constituency went to the ground breaking ceremony at Anna Miller Basic School in the Knockpatrick Division, where he was accompanied by the sitting councillor Goyfield “Frenchie” Stewart.
Later Bunting and a team including Mayor of Mandeville Brenda Ramsay went to the Mandeville Infirmary to share with staff and residents. Among other efforts community clean-up efforts throughout the constituency, the MP joined teachers and parents in a tree planting exercise at the Hope Village Preparatory School in Williamsfield.
The constituency was buoyed by the spirit of community and mutual responsibility exhibited on the day.
