Former MP for Central Manchester and Minister of Health John Junor was honoured in late August for 20 years of public service.The event, hosted by current MP Peter Bunting, was held at the Kendal Conference Centre and marked Junor’s stepping away from active public life. It was attended by an extensive guest from both sides of the political divide. Guest Speaker and former Prime Minister PJ Patterson, commended Junor for his service to his Party and the community, and urged him to re-engage contributing in some form in the near future.
