Bethabara Student Grateful For New Wheelchair
ast week, a student of a Knockpatrick school was overcome with gratitude. Her MP, Peter Bunting, came to her school, Bethabara Primary & Junior High, to present her with a new, state-of-the-art motorized wheelchair.
She is Shanelle Colquhoun of Grade 9. Now she’ll be able to move around more freely, and be more involved in activities at school and in her community. The wheelchair has empowered Shanelle with greater independence.
Also on hand for the presentation we Principal Daniel Monteith, Shanelle’s mother Sandra Colquhoun, and Goyfield Harrison, Councillor for the Knockpatrick Division.
