Manchester Lions successfully defended their Jamaican Super Cricket League title after securing first innings honours against Melbourne Kangaroos yesterday at Derrymore Road.

Manchester won with a total of 25 points, while the St Catherine Saints and Melbourne finished on 24 points each.

After amassing 344 all out on Saturday, the visiting team restricted Melbourne from their overnight 135 for four and had them dismissed for 243.
